Introducing Skill Paths

Meet Kevin.

He's a Data Analyst who learned Python at Codecademy—and used it to be more efficient at work.

I came to Codecademy to learn basic Python skills in an interactive online environment.

When I first started, I was worried about how well each unit would build on the last. But it turned out to be easy to follow the path. The step-by-step instructions were especially helpful while I was tackling challenging new ideas.

Where's Kevin now?

Through Codecademy, I gained a great foundation in Python—then took the skills I learned to automate two common, time-consuming tasks at work.

From there, I learned advanced text analysis in Python to develop some much-needed reports to improve the company's performance.

There are so many tasks within my current organization and previous jobs that could easily be automated. Many employees are limited to using in-house tools that are buggy, ancient and not updated. Learning a skill like Python can help you bypass that internal rigmarole, take tasks off the dev team's plate, and boost your skill set.
